On behalf of the International Academy S.P.E.K.T.R. we invite you to participate in our annual INTERNATIONAL music, dance and fine ART winter contest CHRISTMAS MYSTERY 2025-2026 (online and life edition)!!!!
International art project S.P.E.K.T.R. – is a presentation of achievements of young and professional performers, beginners and masters of fine arts, in order to promote domestic talents, strengthen friendly, creative ties, develop bilateral cooperation between countries, and the desire to more diversely present the achievements of music, theater, choreography and Fine Arts on the world stage.
The final part of the CHRISTMAS MYSTERY 2025-2026 INTERNATIONAL CONTEST (life edition, second round) and the final GRAND CONCERT will take place in Slovenia, during the summer 2026.
This year CHRISTMAS MYSTERY December 27-28, 2025, SLOVENIA-ITALY, first round, will take place through viewing of the videos received by an international jury.
Deadline for application – December 22, 2025.
We announce the competition in such nominations:
1. Instrumental:
• Piano soloist
• String soloist (violin, cello, harp, double bass)
• Wind soloist (all brass and all wood wind instruments)
• Folk instruments
• Accordion
• Duo and trio
• Ensemble and orchestra
2. Vocals (all nominations);
3. Jazz (all nominations)
4. Dance (all nominations);
5. Painting; graphics;
6. Digital arts;
7. Photography.
AGE CATEGORIES:
- Children: till 10 years.
- Junior: 11-13 years
- Middle: 13 – 17 years
- Senior: 18 – 24 years
- Professional: from 25 +
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTESTANTS:
- Duration of programs for Instrumental, Vocal, Dance nominations, Children category – up to 5 minutes, Junior category – up to 10 minutes, Middle category – up to 15 minutes, Senior category – up to 20 minutes, Professional category – up to 25 minutes.
- Duration can be exceeded by 1 minute maximum.
- For all categories Instrumental and Vocal nominations are obligated 2 diverse music pieces.
Program – free choice, contains at least 2 or more pieces from Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century, etc.
- Duration of programs for Jazz nomination, all categories – up to 10 minutes.
Program must include 2 pieces: 1) Jazz standard (preferably in your own transcription),
2) Free choice (author’s compositions are welcome).
- The solo repertoire must be played by memory. An exception is made for contemporary pieces and chamber music.
- Number of art works for all categories Painting, Photography, Graphics, Digital arts nominations – from 2 to 5 art works.
- A teacher who submits several participants should check that his/her participants do not have the same pieces or art works.
- The contestant’s video for the first round must be in the form of a link to YouTube for Instrumental, Vocal, Jazz, Dance nominations.
- The contestant’s art works for Painting, Photography, Graphics, Digital arts nominations the first round must be sent online as pictures in jpeg or tiff, 300dpi.
- Video applications must have been recorded by the participant during 2025. Videos should be recorded in one camera angle, without any editing or changes. Participants’ entire silhouette and hands should be clearly visible.
- VIDEO RECORDINGS WITH THE NAMES OF OTHER COMPETITIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
- Video of the participant must be signed:
CHRISTMAS MYSTERY 2025, NAME AND SURNAME, AGE, INSTRUMENT, COUNTRY, PROGRAM.
- Art Works of the participant must be signed:
CHRISTMAS MYSTERY 2025, NAME AND SURNAME, TITLE OF ART WORK.
- The application form must be completely filled in, a personal photo must be inserted into the application form, a link to YouTube from the participant’s video must also be inserted into the application form!
- Be sure to indicate the nomination in the application form.
- Vocalists need to indicate the composer and the author of the text.
- All participants must indicate the number of full years.
- To participate in two nominations, the participant must provide 2 performances, 2 videos.
- Incompletely filled application forms are not accepted for the contest.
- DEADLINE for registration – December 22, 2025.
JURY
The members of the jury are finally approved by the organizing committee of the contest.
The chairman of the jury is Sandy Brezovnik, Honorary Consul, Slovenia.
The jury includes representatives of culture from Slovenia, Croatia, Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, Spain and Ukraine.
According to the decision of the jury, the winners of the nominations are awarded diplomas: “Laureate of I, II, III Prize”.
All other participants receive the Diploma of attendance.
Decision of the Jury is final.
The jury awards the “Grand Prix” of the contest.
FINAL PART
The final part of the CHRISTMAS MYSTERY 2025-2026 INTERNATIONAL CONTEST (life edition, second round) and the final GRAND CONCERT will take place in Slovenia, during the summer 2026.
Grand Prix and Laureates of I, II, III Prize of the online round will receive a personal invitation to participate in the FINAL with GRAND CONCERT and ART EXHIBITION.
PAYMENT AND PRIZES OF THE COMPETITION
Contestants of the CHRISTMAS MYSTERY 2025-2026 pay an organizational fee, which includes participation in the online contest, diplomas and medals.

- All details will be sent by mail to Laureates after the announcement of the results of online edition CHRISTMAS MYSTERY 2025-2026.
- PAYMENT is paid in euros to the current account of the Slovenian bank of the organizer or via PayPal.
Confirmation of payment must be sent to the organizer’s e-mail.
Details for payment will be send to the contestant’s e-mail after accepting the participant’s application form.
Confirmation of participation in CHRISTMAS MYSTERY 2025-2026 will be sent by e-mail to the contestants after receiving the application form and confirmation of payment.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS:
Diplomas of Laureates and Diploma GRAND PRIX according to international standard will be sent in electronic form to the e-mail of the contestants.
Laureates I Prize and GRAND PRIX will be awarded with Diplomas in wood and metal and medals of the CHRISTMAS MYSTERY 2025-2026 during the GRAND CONCERT and ART EXHIBITION.
The competition part of the online edition CHRISTMAS MYSTERY 2025-2026 will take place from December 27 – 28, 2025.
RESULTS will be announced December 29, 2025 on the organizer’s FB page and website: https://spektria.com/festivals/christmas-mystery/.
Diplomas in electronic form will be sent by e-mail to the contestants January 09 – 14, 2026.
